The Fat Seed's 6 Manila Branches: Which One Fits Your Vibe
The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery has six branches across Metro Manila — UP Town Center, One Ayala, Greenbelt 3, BGC, and Molito are open now, with Vertis North opening soon — each with its own layout and neighborhood feel.
Six branches, one spirit: good coffee, good food, good vibes. Here’s how to pick the one that matches what you’re actually there for.
UP Town Center, Katipunan — the original
This is where it started in 2018, tucked into a corner of U.P. Town Center. It’s still the branch with the most “hidden gem” energy — busy with students on weekdays, coffee aficionados and brunch-goers on weekends. If you want the OG Fat Seed experience, start here.
One Ayala, Makati — espresso bar energy
Fast, central, built for the transport-hub crowd. Good pick if you’re grabbing something real nice on the way somewhere rather than settling in for the afternoon.
Greenbelt 3, Makati — garden-side brunch
More room to sit, more reason to stay. Greenbelt 3 leans into the brunch crowd and specialty pour-overs — bring people you actually want to talk to.
BGC, Taguig — all-day cafe
Bonifacio Global City gets an all-day version of Fat Seed: coffee in the morning, a workspace by afternoon, real nice food whenever you need it.
Molito, Alabang — the neighborhood favorite
The southside branch, with the same small-batch beans and the same “good vibes” brief, built for the Alabang regulars who don’t want to cross the city for a decent flat white.
Vertis North, Quezon City — opening soon
The newest branch is brewing something new in QC. Follow @thefatseedph for the opening date.
Which branch should you actually go to?
If you want the founding-store story: UP Town Center. If you’re in a rush: One Ayala. If you’re settling in for brunch: Greenbelt 3 or Molito. If you need a cafe that doubles as a workspace: BGC. All six pour the same roastery’s beans — the branch you pick is about the room, not the coffee.
